1 Why Study Theology?
          This introductory lesson introduces the discipline of theology broadly and shows its place within the larger context of the Christian experience.
2 The Theologians Contradictory Job Description (1)
          Part one of three lessons looking at the theological task The theologian has a responsibility to preserve the "faith once delivered to the saints"
3 The Theologians Contradictory Job Description (2)
          The Theologian as the Scientist/Explorer The theologian has the responsibility to discover truth and integrate it into the matrix of our understanding to work toward bringing all things under the Lordship of Christ.
4 The Theologians Contradictory Job Description (3)
          The Theologian as Contextualizer The theologian must re-express the unchanging content of the truth in words and thought-forms that communicate to his/her cultural context.
5 How Do We Know?
          An examination of the interrelationship of theology and philosophy beginning with the Enlightenment
6 Sources and Authority in Theology
          An exploration of the authority, the various types of authority used in constructing theology and the interrelationship of those authorities. Specifically surveyed: the Bible, tradition, reason, & experience.
7 The Divisions of Theological Study (1)
          An explantion of the major divisions of theological study including Biblical Theology, Historical Theology and Systematic Theology
8 The Divisions of Theological Study (2)
          An explantion of the major divisions of theological study including Biblical Theology, Historical Theology and Systematic Theology
